Privacy Policy

Échollage ("we", "our", or "the app") is an iOS application that lets you create collages combining audio and images. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the limited data we handle.

What we collect

We collect a small amount of anonymous data to understand how the app is used and to improve it:

Analytics events: We use Firebase Analytics to track anonymous usage patterns such as how many collages are exported, which backgrounds are popular, and whether audio is recorded or identified. These events do not contain any personal information.
Crash reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs so we can fix bugs. Crash reports include device type and OS version but no personal data.
Anonymous identifier: The app generates a random anonymous ID stored on your device's Keychain. This is not linked to your name, email, or any account. It exists solely to help us understand aggregate usage.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information.
We do not require you to create an account.
We do not access, upload, or store your photos, audio recordings, or videos on any server. All media stays on your device.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell or share any data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Device permissions

The app requests access to the following device features, only when you use them:

Microphone: To record audio for your collages.
Camera: To capture photos for your collages.
Photo Library: To import images and save exported videos.
Push Notifications: To send you occasional updates about the app (you can decline or disable this at any time).

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase Analytics (Google) — anonymous usage analytics
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — crash reporting
Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notifications

These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
